As a Consultant Psychiatrist with TMCC, Dr Luisa Searle has over fifteen years of experience in working with patients from many different backgrounds.
Dr Searle is currently the Lead Consultant for the substance misuse service in the borough of Westminster. As well as the Lead Consultant for the substance misuse service for under 25’s in the boroughs of Camden and Islington.
Dr Searle completed her core training in the London South East region, including Charing Cross and King’s College Hospitals. She received her Psychiatric Training and CCT in Adult Psychiatry and Substance Misuse from The Maudsley Hospital NHS Trust, as well as obtaining her Medical Degree from The University of Manchester.
“I have a particular interest in patients with multiple diagnoses and how these intersect and impact patient well-being. Over the years, I have had the opportunity to work in a number of different fields that have equipped me of the challenges of modern Psychiatry. I believe in understanding my patients holistically to provide the best possible outcomes for them.”
Dr Searle’s career skill highlights include assessment and management of specialist psychiatric populations such as Complex Psychiatric disorders, Patients with multiple diagnoses, General Adult Psychiatry: particularly Mood and Anxiety disorders, Substance Misuse, Perinatal substance misuse ADHD, collaborative working and cultural sensitivity.
