MBBS, PGD Psych, MRCPsych, CCT in General Adult Psychiatry and Addiction Psychiatry
Dr Syed Badshah is a member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists (RCPsych) and holds a specialist registration with UK’s Medical governing body, the GMC.
He specialises in General Adult Psychiatry and Substance Misuse/Addiction Psychiatry. He is Section 12(2) approved and recognised by the Secretary of State as having expertise in the diagnosis and management of mental disorders. He also holds an Approved Clinician (AC) status.
Dr Badshah also works as a Consultant Psychiatrist in an Adult Community Mental Health team (CMHT) in the NHS and with a privately run substance misuse service.
He completed his Core and Specialist Psychiatry training in Yorkshire and Northwest respectively which gives him over 13 years of experience in assessing, diagnosing and treating psychiatric conditions.

I always aim to provide the best possible standard of care to my patients. I have acquired a range of clinical skills over the years working in Psychiatry, which include skills in Teaching, Training, Leadership and Management.
I have substantive experience in range of other specialities within the field of psychiatry which have greatly aided my skills to orchestrate and manage a range of complexities in our patient groups and to work efficiently and effectively within the Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) and in liaison with other agencies including third party agencies linked to mental health services.
My sole aim has always been to improve the quality-of-care provision for my patients.”
