The Medical Cannabis Clinics are rotating their Medical Director, and the newly appointed chair is Consultant Psychiatrist, Dr Luisa Searle.
Dr Searle has been with the clinic for the past year and brings with her a wealth of experience as a specialist in her field. The incumbent Medical Director, Dr. Sunny Nayee, will continue treating some of the clinic’s pain patients.
In addition to her responsibilities at The Medical Cannabis Clinics, Dr Searle is the Lead Consultant for the substance misuse service for under 25’s in the boroughs of Camden and Islington and brings with her experience from her previous role as the Lead Consultant for the substance misuse service in the borough of Westminster.
Dr Searle sits on the Board of The Medical Cannabis Clinics and is joined by newly appointed Associate Medical Director, Dr David Tang. Dr Tang is an Emergency Medicine and Musculoskeletal Pain Specialist with a keen interest in all areas of CBPM’s.
Dr Searle says: “It’s exciting to be Medical Director at The Medical Cannabis Clinics (TMCC). I’ve been working with patients over the last year and have seen the very real and very substantial difference that medical cannabis treatment has made to their lives. It is great to work with the team at TMCC to deliver a truly patient focused service.”
